KeyShot 7: een nieuw hoofdstuk in realtime ontwerpen
Realtime renderen in VR, meer ontwerpmogelijkheden en alle ruimte om de user interface te personaliseren: KeyShot 7 opent nieuwe deuren.
KeyShot 7 is mede ontworpen op basis van de gebruikers. Ingenieurs, ontwerpers, 3D-artists en CGI-professionals hebben hun ideeën en wensen gedeeld.
Die input maakt KeyShot 7 tot wat het is: een zeer gebruiksvriendelijke, standalone applicatie voor renders en animaties in 3D.

KeyShot 7 is een waardige aanwinst voor de KeyShot-serie.
Er is goed geluisterd naar de feedback en ontwerpers worden op hun wenken bediend.
Er zijn verschillende handige nieuwe features toegevoegd, zoals:
- UI Customization. Een goed ontwerp gedijt bij creatieve vrijheid. De user interface van KeyShot 7 maakt dat makkelijk, want ontwerpers kunnen deze naar eigen voorkeur inrichten. Van tabblad tot toolbar en van snelkoppeling tot camera-instelling: alles kan worden aangepast.
- New Material Types. KeyShot 7 introduceert nieuwe materiaalsoorten, bijvoorbeeld polycarbonaat in de categorie Cloudy Plastic. De KeyShot library met bestaande materialen en structuren heeft daarnaast een update ondergaan.
- Environment Updates. Wisselen tussen achtergronden is een kwestie van ‘drag and drop’. Ook voor het finetunen van de belichting biedt KeyShot 7 nieuwe mogelijkheden. Alles naar wens? Export een scene dan eenvoudig als HDR- of EXR-file naar een andere scene.
- Real-time VR Rendering. Met een VR-headset krijgt realtime rendering een nieuwe dimensie. Zowel de Oculus Rift als de HTC Vive kan hiervoor gebruikt worden.
- KeyShot Configurator. Met de KeyShot Configurator kunnen gebruikers eenvoudig kennismaken met een ontwerp. Deze tool maakt het mogelijk om complete modellen te verkennen, maar ook switchen tussen specifieke componenten en materialen is mogelijk. Ideaal voor een design review en een interactieve point-of-sale display.
KeyShot 7 is goed, KeyShot 11 is beter
KeyShot 7 creëert nieuwe mogelijkheden in 3D-rendering en animaties. State of the art bij de introductie in 2017, maar technologie blijft zich altijd ontwikkelen.
Keyshot 8, KeyShot 9 & KeyShot 10 zijn inmiddels een feit en bieden de gebruiker nóg meer mogelijkheden.
Tipje van de sluier? KeyShot 10 biedt onder meer Keyframe (geometriebeweging), Sun & Sky Day Arc (cyclus van een dag), Environment Rotation en Camera Twist. Ondertussen is KeyShot 11 al uitgebracht.

KeyShot 10 is bij uitstek gebruiksvriendelijk, maar voor met name nieuwe gebruikers is de KeyShot-training een aanrader. Praktische begeleiding op basis van persoonlijke doelen.
De basistraining zorgt voor een algemene introductie, de geavanceerde training biedt diepgaand begrip op specifieke onderwerpen. De dagelijkse praktijk staat centraal en dat zorgt voor direct toepasbare inzichten.
